Know your CW ID and PIN. This will give you access to submit your new student deposit. Secure your spot at Montclair State by submitting your new student deposit. If you're applying for housing, you'll also be able to submit your housing deposit.
Obtain your Net ID through instructions you'll receive via email. This connects you to all web based university systems, including your university issued email address. Sign up for your freshman student orientation online. Yes, this is mandatory, but it's super fun. You'll be able to connect with your peers, learn about the university and get to know the faculty and staff.
Take your Montclair State University placement test. All first year, students need to complete the appropriate placement testing or receive exemption, prior to registering for courses. You will receive an email containing information regarding your assigned placement tests.
Let us help you build your class schedule to help in making a smooth transition to life as a Red Hawk. All newly admitted first year students are pre enrolled in courses for their first semester. An email will be sent from your college or school with your first year questionnaire, which you must complete prior to building your schedule. So keep an eye out for that.
Have your final, unopened high school transcripts submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Explore your student account payment options. Montclair State University offers a variety of tuition payment options to suit your needs.
Finally, complete your mandatory health requirements. After you commit to Montclair State, you'll need to provide required health document To our University Health Center. And that's it. These checklists are your guide to officially becoming a Montclair State Red Hawk.
